Even though many people think multitasking helps them be more productive, that’s not the case.

Don’t do five things at a time that will lower your productivity level. Instead of that, determine the time for sports, work, meals, reading, and take some time for yourself each day to do nothing but relax.

The 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto principle, is one of the things that could help you keep your motivation up. The main lesson you need to learn using this principle is to always choose where and how you spend your time. The 20% of activities are responsible for 80% of your productivity and success. So, what you should do is find those activities that can lead to higher success. Once you determine this, you will be able to spend more time on things with which you have a greater chance of achieving, and which require less effort.

The 80/20 rule can, in the long term, improve your motivation daily. By following and accomplishing certain daily activities, you will get the necessary stimulation and boost of energy to perform even more similar activities.
